The structure of thioglycerol was analyzed by infrared spectrum analyzer to determine whether the hydroxylation of cashew phenol was successful. A certain amount of thioglycerol was diluted with ethanol and then added to the substrate pressed by potassium bromide in a oven at 60℃ for 1h for infrared testing.
